Advancing Computing Research & Innovation for Inclusive Digital Transformation
*Conference details are subject to updates
Bringing together researchers, lecturers, students, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, present research, and strengthen collaborations in the digital era.
The 8th International Conference on Computer Science and Information Technology (ICOSNIKOM) 2026, organized under the collaboration of APTIKOM (Association of Higher Education in Informatics and Computing) Region North Sumatra, provides an international forum for researchers, lecturers, students, and industry professionals to present and discuss recent advancements in computing and digital technologies.
The conference brings together participants from diverse fields including computer science, information systems, software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, and communication technology. The conference is hosted by Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) in Medan.
Through keynote sessions, paper presentations, and scholarly discussions, ICOSNIKOM 2026 aims to promote the exchange of innovative ideas and research findings that address contemporary technological challenges while encouraging collaboration between academia and industry.
ICOSNIKOM 2026 welcomes high-quality research papers in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, and closely related engineering fields. Submissions should present clear technical contributions in computing, software, data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, networking, embedded systems, signal processing, or digital systems engineering.
Papers from applied domains are welcome only when they include a substantial technical, computational, algorithmic, system-oriented, or engineering contribution.
The conference scope is aligned with IEEE-relevant areas, particularly:
Scope note: Papers that only report business case descriptions, management analysis, user surveys, policy discussions, or domain-specific observations without a clear Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or engineering-based technical contribution are considered outside the conference scope.
